I spent my 60th birthday in my PJs, eating cake and crocheting, and feeling sorry for myself, cause i didn't get to have a nice party. Maybe next year. 

My work schedule is very low, maybe 4 hr days if I'm lucky, which is not great on the checkbook, but Ted is doing very well with the lawn Mower repair and sells. We will be fine. I did get my nails done and had a little Michaels trip.

Super Simple Summer sweater Paid for pattern on Ravelry by Joji Locatelli, Himalaya Everyday Viking, Needle isa 4mm, US 6 Addi turbo 40 inch circular

Shawl, I'm winging it, started it with a simple cast on 5 stitches and do knit 2, yo, knit 1, yo, knit 2, and i am going to do what i want. I have 8 skeins of yarn that needs to be knit up, so that is what i am doing. don't know what it is going to look like in the end. yarn is di.ve Butterfly, and Starship, needles, are nitpicks dreams, US 10, 6mm

Basket, also winging it. started with Leftover Loops and Threads Copenhagen in color called Rainy day, and will use scrapes to Finish. hook is an L, 8 mm.

Crochet in May Along
Story of the Week and Stash Enhancement I have stashed a few patterns, and am hooked into a new crochet technique, that i am hankering to start. I have also been doing some yarn shopping. Have some ice yarn coming and a few skeins from Hershners, to start one of the crochet projects. 

Also it is my 6 year Podiversary.  Although it is a very small podcast with 307 subscribers, i enjoy it so much. The Ravelry group is small and not very active, but when it is, it is fun. I hope you enjoyed watching the intro. It was fun going back and grabbing the intros of the podiversarys of the last 5 years and seeing the changes. Story of the Week and Stash Enhancement No New Stash. I have been experiencing so Low MOJO over the last week, but I did get some knitting in before the blahs happened. NO FOs however.
Things are steady at work and home. No virus in either location, Thank you God. 
Some crazy moments at work. Last Wednesday after working for 2 hrs was told to go home because i was in a building the week before that a worker tested positive for covid 19. Then after being stressed and scared for a moment, got a text to come back, all was okay, just have to wear n95 mask which was supplied by facility. I was so overwhelmed I choose to stay home for rest of day. After I thought about it , I realized I could be just as exposed to virus by going to grocery store. 
All in all, all is well.

Story of the Week and Stash Enhancement No new stash. I did some finishing, and since I finish a few things I cast on a new sweater. I think I have one more sweater in me for the season. It will be finished and put away for the fall and winter. I will knit it and think of happier times to come. 
I continue to work. the Facilities I work in are free of the Covid19 so far. 
I work, go to grocery, or pharmacy and home. That is all. Will be so glad when we get the curve flattened and going down.

Story of the Week and Stash Enhancement  My finger slipped and i did purchase a little more yarn. 

I finished a few things and I started a few thing. 

I am also really scared about the corona virus pandemic. I have been working every day, being very careful when I have to go to grocery store, and we started taking some VitaminC. I also cut my nails down, to decrease risk of germs under nails. I don't want to go to the nail shop right now. My life is work/ home/ to the grocery if needed. My thoughts and prayer to the families, and people who have the virus.

Story of the Week and Stash Enhancement  I did a little stashing while in Florida. I also finished a few things. 

We had a wonderful Vacation in Florida. Lots of relaxing, little shopping, lots of good food and fun. I learned a new card game. The house we stayed in had an elevator, which was wonderful for Ted and a few of other people. I did a lot of walking up and down the stairs. was good and I lost a pound while on Vacation. will insert short slide show of trip.
