October Pink Along

For the Month of October, we will be doing a Pink along KAL/CAL for Breast Cancer awareness.
I will be knitting the Survivor Shawl, and if anyone else chooses to also knit that pattern will get 2 entries for a chance to win my Pink/Purple sparkly handspun yarn. (see podcast for pics of yarn)

Rules

Must be a member of group to qualify for prizes

Starts your project on Oct 1st and Thread will closes on November 15th

Knit or Crochet something with at least 200 yrds of yarn in Pink or something that is at least 50 % pink.

Chatter is welcome and encourage on thread.

Have fun and as you knit put in happy thoughts for those who are battling this disease, or have won there battle.

Winner will be drawn by random # generator on next podcast after conclusion of KAL/CAL.

Flax for Me Free pattern on Ravelry by TinCan knits. yarn is cheap walmart yarn in three color. needles are US 7, 4,5mm and US 9, 5.5mm. I have had it in my mind for months to make a color block sweater and I just decided to do it. I am using bigger needles and knitting an extra large size, so it will be bigger then XL.

Spinning  Peacock  4.65 ounces, chain ply, 176 yards
