Story Of The Week
It has been a busy week, but not so much yarn busy.
If you have been to the group you will have noticed the changes. I changed the banner and badge. I also changed that stuff on my Etsy Store, and on Facebook.
I also ordered Podcast Buttons.
I am also in the process of getting my Podcast on iTunes, Which is harder then you can imagine. You may not believe it but I am not very computer savvy. I still can't figure out how to do a magic link on Ravelry. LOL
I am working the a gentleman from School of podcasting to get the right setup to get on iTunes. If you are interested here is a link to his stuff.

Story Of The Week
I figured out what was going on with my eating, and made some improvements to my eating and I haven't had any cheating so far this week. I realized I was not eating enough calories during the day and that was tripping me up after work.
I also Learned some new to me techniques in my knitting. I learned the 3 needle bind off, and I made some cute stuffed animals in prep for the Bakery Bear.
I also figured out a way to get the exercise in.

Story Of The Week
Its about trying new things. You know how it is when you see a pattern to technique that you want to try, but it seems too scary. So you just don't try it and it sits in an unfinished project or pattern that you bought months ago. You don't start because you are afraid to fail.
On Tuesday this week I was thinking about the podcast, and I thought about the fiber that was waiting to be plied. It had rested enough. I took the bull by the horns and got everything ready, watched the YouTube Videos again, and just tried it. And it was pretty easy to get the hang of it.
Next thing for me to tackle in fiber is the Bakery Bear. It has been looming a bit.
After that I have to tackle that exercise thing….

Story Of The Week
We had a very nice Easter. I made the jello covered marshmallows , and the JellyBean Bracelets for the kids. The Marshmallows were a lot of fun but I don't recommend the bracelets. They were messy.
I completed my 3 day Juice cleanse and feel all clean, and back on track.

Story Of The Week
It has been a rough week of not sleeping enough, stress at work, no time to go to gym and when there was time, I just didn't have the energy or was feeling sick. Had a few not great day with my eating, but it is all good. My plan is to not be to hard on myself and do a reboot after Easter. That doesn't mean I am giving myself a free ticket to go crazy during the holiday, but it will be easier to reboot after.
We are having everyone at our house for Easter.

Diet Tips: Surviving a Bad Weekend from diet.com
Any dieter can have a bad day, week or weekend. What separates the successful weight losers from the less successful ones is their ability to quickly pick themselves up, dust themselves off and refocus.

Successful weight losers know that the path to long-term weight loss is not always a straight line. In fact, more often than not it can be a bumpy road – one filled with detours and jagged paths that range from overdoing it at holiday time or indulging over a long weekend.

It's important to set yourself up for a successful path to long-term weight loss. Learning how to quickly come back after a bad weekend is in order.

Here are some tips to guide you:

1. Look at the big picture. Nutrition experts know that the quality of your diet is not set in stone from one meal, one day or one weekend. Instead, your diet quality is made of many choices that occur over weeks and months. You need to remember that if you’re coming off of a weekend where you made some bad food choices, you can start the week by making some healthier food choices. A long-term healthy weight loss program is not about having to be perfect all the time; it’s about balancing out the worse days with some better ones. And, as time goes on and you gain more control, you’ll see that overall you will have better days – and weekends.
